Who we are
scubaclubthailand.com is run by Koh Tao Scuba Club, a dive center in Mae Haad, Koh Tao, Surat Thani 84360, Thailand.
What we collect
When you tap a chat button we record an enquiry code together with the page you came from, the advertising campaign that brought you (UTM tags and ad click IDs), your language, the course you asked about and your approximate country. We do not collect your name, email or phone on this site. You share those only if you choose to, in the chat.
Why
To answer your enquiry, to match a booking to the enquiry it came from, and to measure which of our ads are worth paying for.
Cookies and ad measurement
With your permission we load the OpenAI Ads pixel and Google Analytics, which set cookies to measure visits and enquiries. If you decline, they are never loaded. Your enquiry code is kept in your browser so it stays the same if you come back.
How long we keep it
Enquiry records are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act you can ask to see, correct or delete data about you. Message us on Facebook Messenger with your enquiry code.
