Morning and afternoon trips
Our morning boat visits the deeper pinnacles and the afternoon boat the shallower, calmer reefs. We never dive the same site twice in a row, so a week of diving never repeats itself.
When to dive Koh Tao
We dive every day of the year. Conditions are usually at their calmest and clearest from about March to October; in the windier months we choose the sheltered side of the island.
Questions
What is the best dive site on Koh Tao?
Most divers pick Chumphon Pinnacle or Sail Rock for the big schools of fish. New divers usually love the shallower reefs on the afternoon boat.
Can I see whale sharks?
Sometimes. Chumphon Pinnacle and Sail Rock are the best places, but sightings are never guaranteed.
How warm is the water?
Around 26–30 °C, so a thin wetsuit is plenty.
